Exterior

The property is a traditional Charentaise farmhouse with approximately 250 square meters of internal space and a large garden, with floodlit pool surrounded by tiling and generous lawn.

Adjacent to the pool and terrace, there is an outdoor heated shower.

For eating 'al fresco' and relaxing there is a choice of seating areas, a covered large table seating eight beside the fountain "Margo" on your left and a large two tier family sized barbeque on your right, a few steps from the kitchen, or a round stone pedestal table and bench seating area at the bottom of the garden beyond the pool. Both have uninterrupted views of the countryside, and are bathed in sunlight all day long as they face south.

For the more active family members, there is a generous size lawn for ball games which is surrounded by flowers and many fruit trees, for example, pear, cherry, plum, olive and orange to name but a few (feel free to pick some when in season). At the bottom of the lawn is a court for you to try your hand at boules; the set is supplied.

Interior

On the ground floor you will find two double bedded rooms complete with ample drawers, hanging space, chair, duvet and pillows. Both rooms have a reading lamp and electric fan and the original parquet flooring. The kitchen is equipped with two large fridges (one for food and one for drinks), gas hob with oven and extractor, microwave and additional electric oven/grill. There is a water cooler, blender, scales, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, toaster and iron. There is a good supply of pots, crockery and cutlery, serving utensils, glasses, and dishes for all your needs. The feature of this room is the Charentaise fireplace with log burner. Plastic plates, cups and cutlery are supplied for younger guests, with free use of travel cot (3), high chair (3) and changing mat. The downstairs toilet is equipped with shower cubicle, wash hand basin, hairdryer, and towel rail.

Should you wish to dine inside, the separate dining room table seats eight with ease. The lounge has two large sofas, leather chair and footstool, with a wood burner for chillier days. We have installed Sky TV with full package, sports films and children's channels for you to enjoy along with DVD, video and music systems. There is also Wi-Fi access available free of charge. Choose from a varied selection of books, games, videos and DVDs to suit all ages. The main reception rooms and kitchen have ceiling fans.

On the first floor is the large family bathroom, with over bath shower, bidet, and vanity unit with shaver socket and hairdryer. Two twin bedded rooms  both have ample drawers, hanging space, chair with duvet, pillows, reading lights and electric fan. Should you require air conditioning units these can be supplied at additional cost.
